Shoulders are a fascinating joint because each time we use our shoulder joint, it contracts and pulls together, aggravating an injury or aggravating symptoms.
One of the best things you can do for a shoulder injury is hanging. Find a beam or door frame, have your palms forward and hang. Start for 5 seconds, building up to 15 or 30 seconds. Doing this, helps to open the shoulder joint and improve healing.
As with all stretches, they should be pain free and if you don’t feel they are working, then don’t do them.
